Diorama Hall

The first hall has a 35 metre diorama depicting the various desert habitats from Sharjah's East Coast to West Coast, with smaller displays of various habitats and local animals preserved by taxidermy.

Very observant visitors may spot the tiny animals tucked away under trees and behind bushes. Graphic displays illustrate the difference between temperate climate and desert flora and fauna, the various life cycles and food chains. Many beautiful photographs of plants, birds and animals show a rich biodiversity that surprises many visitors.
